How it works

Three input formats. LaTeX, MS Word (Unicode), or MathML — with a live preview before you insert.
Real text layers. Split into variables, terms, or a single layer; every glyph stays editable in the comp.
Rigged for animation. Layers are labeled by role and parented to one control null — move and scale the whole equation at once.
Layers or precomp. Build directly into the active comp or as a tidy precomp.

Required fonts

Equations render with real math OpenType fonts. Install either (or both) system-wide — both are free:

Latin Modern Math — the classic LaTeX look (GUST Font License)
STIX Two Math — Times-style scientific typesetting (SIL OFL 1.1)

Install

Download EQ_Wizard-1.4.0.zxp.
Install it with ZXPInstaller or Anastasiy’s Extension Manager.
In After Effects, open Window → Extensions → EQ Wizard.

The build is signed with a self-signed certificate — an “unverified publisher” notice during install is expected.
